Cadet Camp 2024

The Hornby Island Fire Rescue Cadet Camp 2024 will occur on March 21. It’s a HIFR tradition and is packed with fun and learning.

If you or someone you know is between ten and 14, you are welcome to join us for a day of extinguishing real fires, learning crucial first aid skills, spraying water from a fire hose, learning how to escape a burning building, and much more.

This is a free camp, and there is no charge to the participants. This is just another way that we can serve our community. The camp runs from 10 AM until 3:30 PM and includes lunch. There will be an evening session where the cadets will join the members of HIFR for a fun challenge course where the skills they learned will be demonstrated.
