If you have a Kidde fire extinguisher with a plastic handle please check it against this recall notice.

Fire Hazard Rating: LOW

The ban on campfires and backyard burning (category 2 fires) was rescinded Thursday, Sept 25, at noon. Category 3 (machine-built) fires are now allowed but require a permit from the hall. Call the fire hall at 250.335.2611 for more information or to report an illegal burn.
